Yup... I still have exams (they seem to go on forever) but don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you guys.

This'll be the last update I give you guys from here as we're moving to:

It's still under minor construction, but it's up and running. :)

Challenge Spec Update

Hey guys,

It just occurred to me that there have been a few edits to the Double Instrumental Challenge specs over at the forum that I didn't really draw any attention to here, so I thought I should!

The current specifications stand at:

1. The first video must use a classical piece of music i.e. created over 40 years ago
2. The second video must use any other instrumental music e.g. techno, film music, trailer music, song without words, etc.
3. Each video must be over 45 seconds long but no more than 5 minutes.
4. You may use a limit of 7 voice-overs.
5. You must not use any Immediate Music tracks.

Huge apologies if you've done a video and realise it doesn't match the criteria anymore! You may send an angry e-mail to me. :$

Good luck everyone, and don't forget to make your video known in the forum by the 16th June!

New challenge!

Hello everyone.

I've been around since I handed in my final year project, updating Kawoosh! like mad (there's a little backlog) and tweaking small things here and there.

There's a new challenge over on the forum, be sure to check it out especially if you're into instrumental music vids! I'm excited... but I also have exams soon... grrr.

I'm also thinking of changing this updates page. I've been site-tinkering lately with a blogger I made (http://puddlejumping.co.uk), which was just a playground I could mess around with PHP and CSS in... but now, I think I want to put it into proper use. We'll see though, there's still a ton of stuff I need to do!

Until my exams are over (in June... omg, ages away), I'll still only be adding new videos to Kawoosh!. But y'see that to-do list on the side of this page? I have all that and more to do once I'm done with uni!

I know I've been slacking lately with Kawoosh! and the forum, but I really need the time to concentrate on my final year project. I'll be a little more active around the beginning of May, just before my exams.

Yup, I've finally got Kawoosh! back up to date... phew. I believe I've listed 7 new editors as well. It was very rushed, so apologies in advanced for any mistakes I might have made - feel free to e-mail me!

I am counting the days until 1st June: my last exam. :)

I'm tired.

This week has been incredibly crazy - coursework deadlines, practicals and tests at uni together with dance rehearsals has made me neglect the online life I lead. I've only been getting a few hours sleep each night and really haven't had a lot of time to focus on Kawoosh! at all.

So with that, I apologise! It's moments like these I wish I had a time-dilation device.

I'm hoping by Sunday things would've calmed down and so I'll do the new videos listing then.

I also want to thank Derry and Klostes for pointing minor errors with the video submission form.

Hello, hello.

I think Kawoosh! is now up to date with the new video listings. Keep 'em coming! We've had a lot of new editors as well as new members over at the forum.

*yawns*

The next couple of months is going to be hectic. It's my final year at uni and we're drawing closer to the stressy time of exams as well as my final year project deadline... it's like a dissertation but in computer language rather than in English language.

I'm going to be doing the bare minimum for Kawoosh!, trying to keep it updated as well as respond to e-mails. I probably won't have time to start working on the features listed on the 'to-do' until after this hullabaloo is over.

Hi guys,

Yup, I've had a successful week of working my brain into a jelly smush and now I'm back! Though, I have a feeling over the next two months, I'll be incredibly busy with uni as my final year project is due very soon together with exams.

Thanks for being patient, I have had a couple of e-mails that I've dealt with already but I think I'll wait 'til tomorrow to list up the new videos submitted for this week.

Off-world for seven days...

...ah, I wondered when this day would arrive.

Today's the day I realise that the pieces of buggy source code sitting on my hard drive and the mess of papers lying around on my desk actually needs to be fixed and put together in order for my huge pile of coursework to be completed.

I'm screwed if this doesn't get done.

And so, desperate times calls for desperate measures. I'm going to have to leave Kawoosh! for a while. One week, actually. I'm hoping that'll buy me enough time to sort things out with the real world (as ugly as it is).

I will not be listing anymore new videos up this week (there are seven added already). I probably won't reply to e-mails either unless I think they're very urgent.

I know this is a pain, but it's something I really have to do. I've done it before so I'm hoping you guys are used to it!

Muppet, thanks for holding the fort. As always. :)

Advanced Search Feature

Yup! Due to popular demand, I've re-done the Advanced Search feature on Kawoosh! - I haven't tested it very thoroughly, but so far it seems to be behaving itself.

Another facility I really must implement is a "Joint Editor" option, because I know there are many videos out there which were made by more than one person and it's very important that the appropriate people are credited.

Despite its importance, it'll have to wait... I'm having a stressful time at uni with coursework and projects to do, which I really should concentrate on.

There are three new editors who I haven't mentioned yet: sourfall, Mark Weldon, and Baileys. I should also be listing up Judith's video later this evening.

Sue found me a whole bunch of videos by Sache8, which I hadn't listed yet... so I added them too.

A brief reminder that the Immediate Music Trailer Challenge is still open for voting!

HostDime is the webhosting company I use to run Kawoosh! - I e-mailed them about the problem and they were so nice about it and reassured me that it was probably coincidence that the site went down the same time I started tweaking. They rebooted the server and things seem to be okay again!

There was me thinking they'd screw at me for causing trouble or something... ages ago, when I first started PHP, I used to be hosted with Heart Internet and they actually phoned me up to tell me that I had some bad code that was using up +80% of their resources and I need to sort it out. Scared the hell out of me.

I don't like Heart Internet though - they currently have my ShorTTy.co.uk domain name and site hostage. It's a long story, but I'm not sure what to do about it... grrr.

Kawoosh! Down Time

I think since 5am, Kawoosh! has been temperamental.

It might be because I was trying to fix up the "Search" facility and the MySQL database is playing up... I'm not sure though, but I'm well aware that sometimes Kawoosh! takes very long to load up or doesn't load up at all.

Yup. It's 1:01am and I've just discovered that there are 12000 posts over at the forum. Crazy.

I've added more Atlantis videos from Evil Superman as well as a newbie on the forum, PG15. There are two more new editors that I need to add in a mo'.

The search facility on Kawoosh! is still under construction. I was going to leave it 'til much later, but seems like a lot of people miss it (including myself), so I'm hoping to have it done by next week - thanks for your patience.

Another Daniel/Vala video by AvitarGirl was also added, together with Evil Superman's humour video.

A little splash of paint...

I finally added a sub-category in the "Others" section for any behind-the-scenes videos. I still need to split the "Seasons" section into their relative parts e.g. season 1, season 2, seasons 1-8. I'm still thinking about the best way to do that. I should add that to my to-do list (another new thing - there, on the right hand side).

The "Challenges" page should now be fully automated i.e. the active challenges should switch to a past challenge state when the deadline has passed. Plus, the "voting still open" note should automatically disappear once the voting has closed and the results are annouced.

Some Mozilla/FireFox users might notice the new favicon! I understand that IE users'll only see it if the page is bookmarked though. (Thanks Donkey).

My elf-partner extraordinare has been spreading the word of the Trailer Challenge at the forum and since then, there's been a huge surge of visitors and new members. Feel free to check it out and see what all the fuss is about! (Thanks Muppet).

I've started a bit of work on the Advanced Search facility, but it'll take time. This week I'm pretty busy with uni stuff, so I guess it'll have to wait.

Challenge News & New Editors

As announced on the forum, the deadline to get your "Immediate Music" Trailer video entries in is tomorrow morning as voting will commence later that day.

Now, since the site re-vamp, I've been able to list videos almost on a daily basis, rather than doing it once a week. Yesterday, I said that I had a lot of new editors to list up, sent to me by Sue. I've finished doing Angel Girl's videos, but I'm afraid the rest'll have to wait until tomorrow or the day after, which includes the few sitting in my inbox and ones announced on the forum...

...this is because I have a piece of coursework that I simply must finish ASAP and Muppet's holding Stargate Atlantis season 2 episodes hostage until I pay her my completed coursework as ransom! :D

Wow, 2300 videos...

I've changed the layout of the front page a bit. I didn't like the updates blog in that middle part, it looked too messy and was limited to the space of that box. So instead, I did a little intro for Kawoosh! with some important links and listing statistics.

I caught some minor bugs today and updated a few editor's details. I do realise that I'll need to do a full sweep of site URLs sometime (updating them or checking for broken links), but I hope that can wait 'til maybe after I've finished my coursework. :P

During this re-vamp, I created a new way of listing videos. This is really for me when I'm adding new videos to the database. This "new way" is sooo much easier and convenient than the "old way", which now enables me to list videos more often than once a week. The "New Videos" page will(/should) still hold all the new videos listed each week, regardless of what day I list a certain video.

I'm trying to post updates more. It definitely helps in the long-run when I'm trying to search for something that I did or something that happened to Kawoosh! via this blog.

And now, I think I should sleep.

(I've just re-read this post... I don't think my sentences make sense... well, at least I know what I'm blabbering about).

It's 4:39am and I've just launched this new version of Kawoosh! that's supposed to be bug-free and "better" than the old version... I know there's still a bug on the "Pairing" page and the "Search" feature doesn't work (yet). Plus, the "Editors" page displays a massively huge list, which is hard to read.

However... quick links are available on the "Pairing", "Character" and "Races" categories for popular searches and the "Submit a Vid" form looks... prettier. I reckon this is still a beta site at the mo' but I needed to get it online ASAP.

Only seven new videos were submitted this week, though Sue (thank you) sent me another batch of new editors I need to list up. There is a new editor though, kitakatzz - lots of Atlantis videos.

Now, some advanced warning that Kawoosh! will not be updated next weekend because I'll be away and might not have any connection to the Internet. So the next update'll be in two weeks time... and hopefully that time I'll get it right!

I'm trying to get this new version of Kawoosh! up and running as soon as possible, but it's still in its early stages.

It's Monday morning. Guess what... Kawoosh! hasn't been updated yet. It's getting into quite a habit now, isn't it? Let me go eat some lunch first and I'll post up new videos for this week.

You guys are probably thinking "it's not that hard to update Kawoosh!, just post up a few links". That much is true, but it's just finding the time to sit down and do it. Plus, I have a test this week to revise for and a final year project to complete!

Something else eating my time is a new version of Kawoosh!, which should get rid of the many bugs and errors on the current Kawoosh! even though it'll look more or less the same. It's more of a code clean-up than a site re-vamp.

"Immediate Music trailer Challenge"

Create a music vid trailer with some of the tracks you can find on "Themes for Orchestra and Choir". It doesn't matter if you use only one track or make an edition with some of them. There is no limit on the length.

You can make a Stargate, Atlantis trailer or make a trailer with both series.

You have three weeks. The dealine: 26/02/2006.

Yes indeedy, I have written 200 of these little messages... many of them apologising for my incompetence! =P

So, what's new in the land of Kawoosh! I hear you ask. Well, three new editors were added today (AvitarGirl, Sara and Rowan Darkstar) as well as 24 new videos for this week.

I haven't been around in the forum lately, just because I am sooo tied up with coursework and a big chunky project I need to get on with. Definitely until the Summer, I don't think I'll be making any big changes or adding new features to Kawoosh! - it'll just be updating the video listings. I know there are a lot of things that need tinkering with, but I'm hoping that can wait 'til I'm done with this uni business.

Oh! And congrats to the winners! (As always Muppet, you're a star - thanks for holding the fort for me).

And what a great start to the year it is... I've added 49 new videos to the Kawoosh! database!

Yup, I've had a very productive evening... 2am is still the evening... =P

I didn't mean to neglect Kawoosh! over the festive period. It was pretty much down to the fact that I couldn't access the Internet. Well... okay, I was also busy stuffing my face with food and dancing to xmas tunes, but that's not the point.

I'm hoping everyone's had a great Christmas and will look forward to a brilliant new year! Don't forget, there's a Kawoosh! challenge on the forum! The deadline's the 14th January. I really wanted to enter but... I just didn't have any time! =(

Yes, I "disappeared" for a while... things are extremely hectic and so I've had to push Kawoosh! updates down on my priority list of things to do. Having said that though, there were not as many pending video submissions as I thought there would be.

It's the last week of term before the Christmas holidays and as always, I'm swamped with work and work and coursework and assignments and work and all that jazz.

Even when the holidays do come, I have a final year project to finish! Urgh... does it ever end?!

I'm aware that it's 2:45am and that I have a 10am start tomorrow. Well, today. =P

What can I say, apart from my usual "sowee"! =$ I will get back on track - there isn't a huge amount of new video submissions, so maybe if I have time during a class tomorrow (when I have no idea what's going on) I can do a quick video listing.

That's right, votes are still being accepted for the Hip Hop music video challenge. There are eight fantastic entries to check out before midnight 2nd December.

There is still an active challenge up to create a music video using a song by the Barenaked Ladies - the deadline for this is in January next year! Now, there's no excuse for not giving it a go.

I might even have a bash at this... though, the only song I know done by the Barenaked Ladies is "One Week" and you're not allowed to use this song for this challenge as it has been used sooo many times already.

I'm off to decide whether to drink some coffee or to call it a night. =P

Hello!

A quick note to say Kawoosh! is completely up-to-date regarding the video submissions - check out the new videos.

Martouf Marty's links have pretty much been resolved now (as well as her sister's, Queen Selqet 31), though I think Martouf Marty's taken down all her episodic videos. I'll have to edit that some time soon because I don't think they're going back up.

I'm going to try and get back into the habit of renewing the video listing every weekend. So the current new videos list will be there for the whole week for visitors to get a chance to view them. By the weekend, new videos will be listed... ya get me?

Okay. I gotta go do some more work now. Need to head off to uni in a mo'.

Over the weekend, I have added 36 new videos to the Kawoosh! database, including 5 new video editors. Thanks Sue (once again) for searching all over the Internet for editors I haven't listed yet. There are so many out there - I'm adding them as fast as I can!

Don't forget the Kawoosh! Forum challenges. The Hip Hop Challenge deadline is nearing (11th November), however the Band Challenge has been moved to 14th January 2006. Now you have no excuse to have a go!

I have also been plotting-- planning, I mean planning, on some sort of re-structuring of the Kawoosh! website. I've had a couple of e-mails suggesting things and I'd like to take that on board, however it will have to wait a while... uni coursework and assignments are getting piled high!

I've been busy adding a lot of new editors and their videos. Many thanks to Sue once more, for sending me website links and trawling the Internet for me! I really appreciate it.

There was a bug on the Editors page - some have e-mailed me about it (thank you) and I have fixed it now.

I'm thinking of a site re-vamp... however, this won't probably happen until next year because of my studies etc. but I'm thinking about it!

US Version of Kawoosh!

I have had a lot of e-mails now from video editors asking me about this, so I thought I should clarify things. It'd be great if as many people as possible could be notified of this as I'm unsure how many people has been affected.

Many editors have received an e-mail from Jeff implying that I'm working with him to create a US version of Kawoosh!.

I have no intention of collaborating with anyone to create a US version of Kawoosh!. The only Kawoosh! I'm concerned with is this one. Muppet's my second-in-command and she has been absolutely wonderful, especially with the forum and keeping me sane.

Why would there be a need for a "US version" anyway? I don't really get that...

The only connection between Jeff and I is that I wrote some HTML and php for his website so he could host his music videos. That is all. I do this for a lot of people who'd like to have a website but know nothing about making them.

I believe he was trying to use my name and Kawoosh! to promote his new website. I have e-mailed him with my disapproval of this and he has replied saying he'll stop doing it...

I'd like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to anyone. I'm worried what Jeff has been doing can be classed as spamming, especially when I suspect he has been using the e-mail addresses listed on Kawoosh!.

To bottom-line this, as far as I'm concerned, this is the only Kawoosh! around. I'm confident that Muppet and myself are doing a great job. I have no intentions of making a US version or any other version of Kawoosh!.

Hip Hop Video Challenge

Hey guys, it's been a busy week, especially with the new uni term starting... so much work!

But that's not so important. =P The Kawoosh! forum has a new video challenge up and running. You can view any current as well as past challenges by clicking on the "Challenges" link on top of the category menu choices.

There was a brief discussion about hip hop music not used in Stargate music videos and from that, gateslacker put forward the challenge to create a music video using hip hop music.

Nedstat Basic statistics

I just wanted to warn webmasters about Nedstat.

I've had a counter with them since the beginning of time. However, recently another company took over them and Nedstat is now called webstats4U.

Since then, my counter code has also been calling this URL:

"http://a.as-eu.falkag.net/dat/dlv/aslframe.html?dat=443590&xl=1&yl=1"

I see it on the status bar at the bottom of the page, just after it says:

"Opening http://kawoosh.co.uk..."

Anyway, I thought this was odd and looked up "falkag" on Google. It's associated with advertising, viruses and trojan horses. I immediately took the counter code off.

So anyone out there who has a Nedstat counter (which is now a webstats4U counter) check it out... it could be a bit nasty. I also advise anyone who has visited Kawoosh! within the last two months to do a spyware scan. I did one myself and found a "falkag" product. There are lots of scanners available for free - I use mainly use Spy Doctor as well as SpyBot - Search And Destroy and Ad-Aware.

I haven't decided what I'm going to do about stats for my website. I might have to use static numbers for my site taken from my webhosting statistics feature and publish them at the end of every month. We'll see.

It's been tough, but I've been staring at this screen for five hours straight this evening, just like I did last night. Everything's almost in order. There are still a couple of editor's with "(no website)" by their videos.

Some editors are supposed to have "(no website)" or "(site no longer exists)" by their details. These editors have either taken their site down or didn't have a site in the first place but uploaded their videos online and uses a hotlink/direct URL link to their videos to distribute them.

I'm afraid I won't be able to get Martouf Marty's links up as the site's gone down for a bit... not sure why. This includes any editors that have videos hosted there. But as soon as the site's back online, I'll work on fixing the links.

Lastly, I just want to leave a quick thanks to everyone who's e-mailed me with words of support! I'll reply to all your e-mails soon!

And Muppet, you'd better still be smiling!

Kawoosh! still in a mess

Okay, in a nutshell, this is what I did... I wiped out all the URLs for the "video site" links you normally see on video details from the Kawoosh! database. It's not a clever thing to do.

Anyway, what I have to do now is put all the links back. I think I have done only 25% of them so far. So if you see a "(no website)" message where you'd normally see something like ">> video site >> My Home Page", please don't be alarmed - I'm well aware of it.

I have to go to work tomorrrow, so I have to call it a night and get some sleep. Tomorrow evening, I'll be working on it to restore all the URLs and make sure all the links work again... all 2000 of them (perhaps more).

Lastly, I apologise for my incompetence. I know I've let you guys down by making Kawoosh! unreliable. I really don't want you to see it that way. I made a mistake and I'll fix it. Unfortunately, it's a very big mistake and it's going to take a little while.

Please bear with me and hold back your e-mails of complaints. I'm doing the best I can.

Yeah... er... I did the most stupid thing ever and mucked up all the website links on Kawoosh!. The worst part is that I have to manually re-do every editor's video links again. That's approximately 2000 links. When I said all, I meant all.

I guess that's punishment from being really, really stupid and not having a proper backup.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused, but I'm going to fix it. Tonight. Right now. In fact, I made a bet with my father to completely undo this mess by 11pm. I have two hours.

I got quite bored with the old layout and thought I should choose a new template for this updates page. I also found out about the "comments" option, where you guys can leave any comments and such for me.

Apart from tinkering with this blog, I've made some changes to the editors page. Check it out and I'll be really happy to know what you think - good or bad.

I'm trying to get Kawoosh! completely up to date, including all the new pages and features I have kept promising you guys but have yet failed to do so... yes, I am lazy. But I have to do it soon as the new uni term starts in under two weeks, and I know I won't have a lot of time to do maintenance stuff but rather just the updating the site with new video submissions. We shall see.

A small note to the forum - hello! I hope you guys are behaving yourselves in there and being nice to any newbies! =D Sorry I haven't been around, but I'll try to pop in now and again. Weekly updates

I have decided to update the video listings every Friday so that the "new videos" page will make more sense.

After receiving a few e-mails informing me, quite rightly, that the latest 10 videos appearing on the "new videos" page is mis-leading as sometimes there are 30 new videos that day.

By having one update a week, I can therefore list the latest videos for that week as a day is far too short.

I'll see how this goes - if it doesn't work, I'll try something else.

Major updating going ahead... lots of video submissions to do.

As well as that, it's the Summer and I have promised many to add lots of different features to the Kawoosh! website. I'm working on a new layout. Not completely re-vamping the site, just a better way of displaying the video listing.

I'm trying very hard to find a way around letting editors list different file types and file sizes for their videos, but it's a toughie... it really is. Listing joint videos is also a toughie, so I'm putting both of those on hold until I re-establish the database's integrity.

There's also a toggle button of some sort I'd like to add that will display either all Stargate Atlantis videos only, all Stargate SG-1 videos only, or both.

One thing I have done recently is changed the editor's e-mail addresses. I received an e-mail from one of the editor's concerning SpamBots and how they can easily pick up people's e-mail address on websites and use them to spam. I've now changed the e-mail address format so it looks like username {at} somewhere.com and they are no longer linked.

That's it for now... I'll be back with an update of some sort some time. =P

I really didn't want to have to do this, but I feel it's the only way. I am completely swamped with coursework deadlines for uni and I have exams coming up that I should be revising for.

I know I have been neglecting Kawoosh! lately, so I have decided to officially make today my last update for a month. You are still welcome to submit your videos, but they will not be listed until the beginning of June.

I don't want to feel like I'm letting you guys down and I have thought about it a lot. I am really sorry for doing this to you, but it's something that I have to do.

You can still send in your e-mails, though I might take longer than usual to reply.

Remember, this is only temporary - I'll be back on the 10th June, promise. :D

BIG PROBLEM

Kawoosh! is currently going through a big move, which means that I won't be updating Kawoosh! until the move is complete.

I'm having to switch webhosting companies due to copyright stuff and legal doo-dahs. I'll also be obtaining the domain name kawoosh.co.uk and will hope to get everyone using that address once we've moved.

I think everything should be done by Friday, but I'm still waiting for the domain name to become fully registered before I can buy a hosting package.

Apologies for all the inconvenience caused - you can still submit your videos, but they probably won't be listed on the database until the weekend.

It's been a little quiet, so I've been crawling through the database, updating the listings and making sure links work etc., however I've only been through the first lot of editors... I've still got loads to check.

I've just added a new editor from Germany, mamoru - lots of high-quality Sheppard/McKay videos!

After I finish my essay, yes I plan to finish it today, I'll work on a cross-overs feature as well as a joint feature, as I know a good few music videos are interlinked with other fandoms and even editors like to collaborate with other editors. It's a big job so... once again, bear with me and thanks for being patient.

Kawoosh! is back up-to-date again, all the video submissions have been taken care of as well as link updates.

I've started to do a massive link update myself, going through all the editors making sure I have all their videos listed and have their correct details. I've also been trying to contact editors whose sites are currently down... if anyone has new contact details or links for them, please e-mail me about them, thanks!

I haven't forgotten all the little bits I need to do on Kawoosh!, but things are really slow these days due to my university commitments and part time job (well, someone has to pay for the webhosting - hehehe). Having said that, I hope you guys continue to be patient if I get a bit behind.

Loads and loads of new editors have been added, we now have 133! :D There's still tons more to come - thanks Sue (again) for keeping me posted.

Stargate Atlantis videos and categories

Yes, I'm still in the slow process of giving them a category of their own. I'm still a little unsure as to what to do with them really, so any suggestions are always welcome.

I'm also going to make in the Pairings category three little sub-categories that a video can be tagged with: slash, romance and/or friendship. I'll alter the video submission form so this can be done, and I'll make a start in updating the current pairings videos (yup, all +500 of them)...

As well as this, I'm also half-way through creating an option to list multiple formats and sizes of videos, joint videos and crossover videos. But this will still take a (long) while.

I've been receiving millions and millions of new editor's websites and contact details (thank you so much, Sue) and will be adding them to the database now and again.

Just thought I should keep you posted about what I'm doing. Remember, feedback is always appreciated.

Two new editors added to the Kawoosh! listing - Magnavox and Zelazny.

Magnavox's GemGate site is still under construction, so keep checking back now and again - the music videos are up and available though.

Zelazny was also known as Prometheus (as well as Harperion), so if you see any work under those names it's the same person! Check out the Andromeda site and make your way through the Fan Art section to find the music videos.

A slightly new layout for Kawoosh! - I hope it's all right and that you don't miss the old style too much. More importantly, I re-did the whole entire database and coding stuff (which took absolutely aaages) to try and make page-loading much more faster.

I'd like some feedback, just a line or two saying whether you have noticed Kawoosh! is working faster... or slower, or just the same.

There are still some pages that are still a little incomplete, mainly the links displayed on the top-right of the site. But they will be done shortly. My main priority is to get those video submissions, sitting in my inbox gathering dust, up and listed.

Please, please, please e-mail me if you spot any errors, broken links, weird things going on etc.

Yes, there seems to be some sort of server problem (perhaps), which is making Kawoosh! either inaccessible or run very slow... I'm aware of it and trying to log onto my webserver, but even their homepage is running very, very, slowly and often times out.

I'm working on a new layout for Kawoosh! - it's not going to be very different at all as it's actually the inside parts (the coding and programming bits) that I've been tweaking... but there are minor changes.

I'm also trying very hard to set up a mini-Kawoosh! for the Stargate Atlantis videos - they just keep on coming! As well as that, I really want to fix some sort of way so that editors can list other formats their videos are available in, plus a cross-overs section...

...lots and lots of work, and yet it seems like I'm not doing much. Don't you worry, I'm not slacking at all! And keep those video submissions coming in!

I really want to make Kawoosh! better, and by doing that you may encounter temporary errors on some pages. I'll try to keep them to a minimum though. So if you do see any errors, don't worry about them today.

Another editor has joined the Kawoosh! world, Carla Vanpelt - so far, most of her videos are about Daniel, or Jack/Daniel. If you visit her site and realise a video is not there, feel free to e-mail her about it as she does rotate her videos.

If you had been experiencing problems on Kawoosh! i.e. lots of error messages and silly stuff like that... yeah, sorry - that was me! I was site-tinkering. I've changed the layout of the episodes page to include Stargate Atlantis episodes.

Yup, a "Races" category! So far there are only 8 videos listed there, but I'm sure there'll be a lot more...
